Summer of 2020 was a real dud and we ended up missing out on so many of the things that we re used to enjoying during the summer in West Michigan due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Luckily, events are starting to come back in 2021, and while some communities have decided to hold off on Fourth of July festivities this year, there are still plenty of events happening around West Michigan for you to enjoy with your friends and family.
The fireworks show in downtown Grand Rapids is returning this year along with the always popular fireworks show in Grandville. Sadly, communities like Grand Haven have opted to cancel their festivities this year (however, the Coast Guard Festival will be happening this year and will have fireworks the evening of August 7.)
At a Thursday night event at Studio park in downtown Grand Rapids, Showspan announced that their full slate of consumer shows for 2021 & 2022 will return.
