Recell Spray-On Skin 443 Words2 Pages The design that I have chosen for my Design & Technology task is ReCell, spray-on skin. I have chosen this design because I believe that it is one of the most innovative inventions to come from Australia. ReCell is a patented skin culturing treatment for burns victims, developed by Dr Fiona Wood and scientist Marie Stoner. The procedure focuses on accelerating the treatment of burns on patients to only 5 days of a recovering process. Wood’s treatment is currently undergoing development but is registered under the TGA (Therapeutic Goods Administration) in Australia. I believe that Recell spray-on skin is ethical because it greatly reduces the time of healing after burn treatments and if the wound is responded to quickly, the healed wounds can have little to no scarring.
