I have chosen this design because I believe that it is one of the most innovative inventions to come from Australia. ReCell is a patented skin culturing treatment for burns victims, developed by Dr Fiona Wood and scientist Marie Stoner. The procedure focuses on accelerating the treatment of burns on patients to only 5 days of a recovering process. Wood’s treatment is currently undergoing development but is registered under the TGA (Therapeutic Goods Administration) in Australia.
