Elementary students in Carmel Central School District are adding new books to their home collections thanks to recent book donations from the Friends of Kent LibraryOpens in a new browser tab.
“The Friends of Kent Library are always looking for ways to help our schools because, as we all know, communities are built on our strong library systems and our strong school systems,” said Kathryn Collins Adams, treasurer for the Kent Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization.
Volunteers from the Friends of Kent Library worked to bring age-appropriate books to the CCSD students, right at their schools. Even students who are learning from home this year received books from the donation in their weekly work material pick-up.
