Dr Caroline Gooch is the Lib Dem candidate at the Bristol Mayor election on Thursday, May 6 and is facing eight rivals, all of which are men.

A TV heir hunter has revealed how he unearthed the long-lost son of a Scots adventurer.
Professional genealogist Danny Curran was asked to look for descendants of William Page Mitchell, who had died aged 89 in a flat in Glasgow city centre in 2010.
