A TV heir hunter has revealed how he unearthed the long-lost son of a Scots adventurer.
Professional genealogist Danny Curran was asked to look for descendants of William Page Mitchell, who had died aged 89 in a flat in Glasgow city centre in 2010.

The former RAF pilot had not made a will and there was no known next of kin for the authorities to contact.
But Danny Curran one of the experts used in the BBC’s daytime hit Heir Hunters managed to find William’s 74-year-old son Andrew.
