A TV heir hunter has revealed how he unearthed the long-lost son of a Scots adventurer.
Professional genealogist Danny Curran was asked to look for descendants of William Page Mitchell, who had died aged 89 in a flat in Glasgow city centre in 2010.

The former RAF pilot had not made a will and there was no known next of kin for the authorities to contact.
But Danny Curran — one of the experts used in the BBC’s daytime hit Heir Hunters — managed to find William’s 74-year-old son Andrew.
