Heath write-in candidates for town clerk
Published: 5/4/2021 7:04:03 AM
Voters in Heath are fortunate to have two write-in candidates willing to serve the town as town clerk: Kate Peppard and Mary Sumner.
Below is some information regarding both candidates. Be sure when you vote by write-in to use the correct spelling for whichever candidate you choose.
Kate Peppard moved to Heath just over five years ago, and from the beginning involved herself in community service. She volunteered for the farmers market, has taught community yoga, currently chairs the Parks and Recreation Committee, is the Heath Ag Society secretary, and most recently trained as a Post Office sub. Kate feels her commitment to service, together with her work experience and fair-mindedness, would greatly benefit the town in the town clerk role, but more importantly, it is a great opportunity to take her sense of civic duty and service mind-set to the next level.
