She is the daughter of a Cree father himself a survivor of the residential school system and a Mohawk mother. Article content Dr. Kona Williams says she has been preparing for this undertaking her whole life. Williams, a Sudbury-based forensic pathologist working at Health Sciences North, hopes she has a chance to contribute to what could be one of the country’s most historic reunification programs.
