Mary Barton, Minot, charged with intent to deliver meth, child endangerment | News, Sports, Jobs

ajohnson@minotdailynews.com Mary Elizabeth Barton, 50, Minot, is charged in district court in Minot with Class B felony intent to deliver methamphetamine, Class C felony child endangerment, Class C felony possession of heroin, Class C felony possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana paraphernalia, both infractions. According to a probable cause affidavit filed with the court, Barton had called the sheriff’s department on Saturday about a dispute involving a van. A deputy responded and spoke with her at her address at 512 2nd Street SE, Apt. 4. The deputy determined that Barton had open warrants out of McLean County, for possession of drug paraphernalia, and out of Burleigh County for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. The deputy arrested her on the open warrants. Barton asked to go back into her apartment to get her shoes and the deputy went with her. There were two boys in the apartment who had been hanging out there
