Three people have been charged as co-defendants in a drug case Monday.
Louis Wayne Burgess, 21, Douglas, is charged with Clsas B felony attempted delivery of a controlled substance in a jail, Class C felony possession of methamphetamine, and Class C felony possession of drug paraphernalia; David Robert Kunkel, 29, Minot, is charged with Class C felony possession of methamphetamine, Class C felony possession of drug paraphernalia, and two counts of possession of marijuana, both infractions; Ivy Le’Shay Church-Thompson, 19, Glenburn, is charged with Class C felony possession of methamphetamine and Class C felony possession of drug paraphernalia.
All three were scheduled to make initial appearances on the charges in court on Tuesday before Judge Stacy Louser.

Counterfeiting (Class A misdemeanor) – Justin Clifford Thornton, 31, 3100 11th Avenue SE, 360 days, first serve 41 days, credit for 36 days served and five days off sentence for good behavior, have no contact with victim, $300 indigent recoupment, $300 restitution, $200 criminal administration fee, $100 defense/facility administration fee, $25 victim-witness fee.
Possession of methamphetamine (Class A misdemeanor) – Jeremiah William Baker, 20, Flaxton, 360 days, first serve 39 days, credit for 34 days served and five days off sentence for good behavior, granted a deferred imposition of sentence for 360 days, obtain a chemical dependency evaluation, $300 indigent recoupment, $200 criminal administration fee, $100 defense/facility administration fee, $25 victim-witness fee.
Drove while intoxicated, .16 percent or greater BAC, first offense (Class B misdemeanor) – Ashley Marie Welsh, 36, Burlington, two days, complete 20 hours of community service in lieu
