R Recreation confirmed today, December 15th, that the ice skating rink in Riverton will not be able to open on December 18th as they had hoped.
The base was damaged by an individual or group before it was frozen solid, R Rec Director Mary Axthelm shared with County 10. This, unfortunately, means the City of Riverton Employees who have worked hard to get it going will have to start over.
