PARIS Chloe Estes’ two-out double in the bottom of the sixth scored Kiara McLeod and Miah Gallan to give Oxford Hills the go-ahead lead against Lewiston in the second game of a KVAC softball doubleheader Saturday in Paris.
The Vikings (4-0) won the game 9-5 after winning the opener 13-6.
McLeod and Gallan had two hits in the second game, as did Trinity Bernard and Kaity Montelongo. McLeod also pitched a complete game.
Gemma Landry hit a a two-run home run for Lewiston (2-2), which tied the game 5-5 in the top of the fifth inning. Brooklyn Mynahan pitched for the Blue Devils.

JAY After both teams scored in the first inning, Mountain Valley spaced out a couple more runs to take down Spruce Mountain 3-1 in MVC softball action on Tuesday.
Ali Legere struck out six batters for the Falcons (1-2) in the win. Legere also tallied a run for Mountain Valley when Gabbie Gallant drove her in. Brooke Brown and Gracie Farnum each scored as well for Mountain Valley.
