Fitzpatricks Private Wealth has expanded its advice team in Queensland with the addition of two “high-calibre” advisers. Matthew Nicholson joins Fitzpatricks having over 20 years’ experience in
They eschew publicity and don't want to become "another voice" representing advisers, but this group of licensee notables is meeting regularly to not only discuss the challenges before them, but see if they can figure out a few solutions.
Duque had worked within the financial services industry since 2013 and joined from ipac, a subsidiary of AMP group, where he was a private client adviser for nearly five years, which followed his role at Corporation U as a financial planner.
Duque’s expertise centred around providing personalised strategic advice on wealth creation and retirement planning strategies.
The new advisers would support the practice to target the private wealth market in south-east Queensland.

This might sound like a joke, but in Rochester, it s actually the beginning of a Doctors in Helicopters gig. The duo will be playing at Kinney Creek Brewery on Friday night, from 7 to 10 p.m.
Besides being a neuroscientist, Matt Fogarty is a singer and guitarist. He first met biomedical engineer Obaid Khurram, also a singer and guitarist, at a conference.
“Matt left the horrible sunny weather in Australia to come work at Mayo in the same lab in which I was doing my doctoral work,” Khurram said. The pair worked together between 2016 and 2018.
The financial planning industry will start working together to allow those currently excluded from getting advice to be included and the fear of providing complaint advice will dissipate, according to a panel.
