He joined his friend at a Jacksonville game on Halloween night, and he recalled that there was a bench-clearing brawl. “From that point on, I fell in love with it,” said Kaser, who has been working in hockey for 41 years. “I used to go down to the rink with my neighbor and watch his dad practice. It was like yesterday. It was pretty warm in Jacksonville, and we would go into the rink and it would feel pretty good.
