驾驶这辆“亚洲最高消防车”出入火场的人叫董志富，沈阳市消防救援支队和平大队南京北街消防救援站特种车驾驶员。
扑救沈阳SR国际新城火灾时，董志富驾驶它快速到达现场。“不涉及救人，只管扑火。”他说，“在现场总指挥指定的位置停下，吊臂升到90米，用射程50米的水炮扑救楼外墙火势……”
从1997年成为一名消防员至今，董志富一直从事着消防特种车驾驶。24年时间里，他驾驶的车可以伸得越来越高，从32米直臂云梯车到52米、54米曲臂平台登高车，再到72米、101米曲臂登高车。“从只能够到八九楼，到现在能够到33楼左右。”董志富说，他的职业生涯见证了沈阳消防装备的巨大变迁。
