Hello gentle readers, and welcome to the SwitchArcade Round-Up for April 28th, 2021. In today’s article, we’ve got a whole bunch of news to check out. We’ve also got a handful of new games to look at, though nothing terribly exciting. There are some very interesting sales today, particularly if you want to fatten your library of Arc System Works games. And we’re not even at Thursday yet! Well, let’s get to work.

‘Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ and ‘Super Mario Party’ Get Updates
A couple of updates arrived in the last day. First, and perhaps most exciting, is for
Monster Hunter Rise. The official
Monster HunterTwitter account revealed the item pack. Players will be able to redeem the “Kamura Pack 1: Big Hit Celebration” via Senri the Mailman.

Notably, receiving this item pack will net you Mega Potions, as well as the valuable Mega Demondrug and Armorskin. Mega Potions can be crafted by combining regular potions and honey, and they provide substantial health recovery. Additionally, the Demondrug provides a useful attack boost, while Armorskin buffs player defense in a pinch.
Monster Hunter Rise freebies drop as sales hit 5 million

We’re only about a week-and-a-half out from the launch of
Monster Hunter Rise, and it’s already safe to say the game is already a success. Shortly after announcing that the game had shipped 4 million units by the end of its first weekend of availability, Capcom has now revealed that
Monster Hunter Rise has sold – not shipped – 5 million copies around the world, a figure that includes digital downloads as well.
To celebrate this milestone, Capcom has started handing out some in-game freebies to all players. Players logging into Monster Hunter Rise today will find that they have a new item pack called Kamura Pack 1: Big Hit Celebration waiting for them, with Capcom distributing these item packs to all players beginning at 12 AM UTC this morning.
Monster Hunter Rise Version 1.1.2 Update Fixes a List of Bugs - Patch Notes

It s been a couple of weeks since the release of
Monster Hunter Risefor Nintendo Switch and PC, and there s a new update that fixes a number of bugs to make your Monster Hunting experience much smoother.
Version 1.1.2 is now available to download, and it fixes bugs that caused specific features to be inaccessible when performing certain actions.
