UPDATE: Victim of fatal multi-vehicle crash in Murfreesboro identified Jun 03, 2021 at 09:13 am by WGNS UPDATED: MURFREESBORO, Tenn. –  The 66-year old Murfreesboro man involved in a multi-vehicle crash on Lebanon Pike (Hwy 231) Tuesday, June 2, has been identified as Tibor Koritsanszky. Koritsanszky suffered severe injuries after the driver of another vehicle crossed the yellow double line colliding with his Toyota Prius.  Koritsanszky was trapped inside his vehicle and had to be extricated by Murfreesboro Fire & Rescue Department personnel.  He was taken to Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital where he died about an hour later. The preliminary investigation reveals a female driver of a silver 2010 Ford Escape was traveling in the southbound lane on Lebanon Pike. (WTVF) — Murfreesboro police said a 21-year-old was killed in a construction accident on Thursday afternoon. According to police, Nicholas Patrick Oliver was a flagman directing traffic when the driver of a road grader accidentally backed over him. He died at the scene. The incident took place near Butler Drive around 12:30 p.m. Police said the construction workers were with Rollins Excavation and were in the process of completing shoulder work. The driver of the road grader was backing up to allow a dump truck to unload gravel and was unaware Oliver was behind him, officers said.
