Thursday, May 20, 2021 - 11:15 am Sloane Ryan OGDENSBURG The valedictorian and salutatorian for the class of 2021 at Ogdensburg City School District have been named. The district is proud announced their valedictorian as Sloane Ryan and their salutatorian as DeAnna Fennessy. Sloane Ryan, valedictorian, is the daughter of Garth and Molly Ryan of Ogdensburg. With a grade point average of 99.28, she ranks number one in her class of 106 seniors. Sloane will graduate in June 2021 with a Regents diploma with Advanced Designation with Honors and an annotation that denotes Mastery in Mathematics and Science. Outside of academics, Ryan is well-known in the district and community as an outstanding vocalist and actress, having starred in community productions and school productions. Sloane has performed vocal and instrumental solos for NYSSMA for years, and she has participated in very competitive All-County, Area All-State, All-State, and All-Eastern vocal programs
