MUMBAI: A carcass of a 7 feet Indian Ocean humpback dolphin was found at Cuffe Parade beach on Monday afternoon, the second such incident on southern coasts of Mumbai after a dead whale shark was spotted at Sasoon dock in August last year.
Primarily, the death of dolphin appears to have occurred due to suffocation after it was trapped in the fishermen s nets or ropes and the rocks somewhere deep inside the coast a few days ago, forest officials said.

Mumbai: A carcass of a 7 feet Indian Ocean humpback dolphin was found at Cuffe Parade beach on Monday afternoon, the second such incident on southern coasts of Mumbai after a dead whale shark was spotted at Sasoon dock in August last year.

The fire was first reported at a godown in Goregaon East area.
A massive fire broke out on Tuesday evening at a godown in a slum in Khadakpada area, Goregaon East. The blaze was reported near Ratnagiri Hotel. There were no reports of anyone getting injured, civic officials said.
The fire was reported in Samna Parivar locality around 6.50 pm. Fire brigade and police reached the spot and dousing operation is underway, officials said.
As many as 12 fire tenders were at the spot trying to control the blaze which was designated as level-3 fire.Â
According to reports, the fire has spread to 20,000 square feet area.
