Delhi BJP is running a campaign titled ‘Seva Hi Sangthan’ under which party leaders are helping Covid hit people and their family members.
NEW DELHI: Former Delhi BJP chief and northeast Delhi MP, Manoj Tiwari, distributed food outside Swami Dayanand hospital and then visited a Covid care centre at Yamuna Sports Complex in Vivek Vihar to see the arrangements made there for patients.

“Under the campaign each and every party worker including MPs, MLAs and councillors is leaving no stone unturned to provide necessary items such as medicines and other equipment to the needy. The campaign is aimed at providing maximum possible help to people and carry forward the campaign by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to deal with the pandemic,” Tiwari, who recently recovered from Covid, said.

NEW DELHI: Former Delhi BJP president and second term MP from Delhi s North East Lok Sabha constituency Manoj Tiwari tested positive for Covid-19 on Thursday. He does not have any symptoms and has isolated himself at his Delhi residence.
The BJP star campaigner cancelled his two political rallies scheduled in West Bengal immediately after getting the test report. Since the announcement of elections, Tiwari has addressed around 70 rallies, road shows and large public meetings in West Bengal, Assam and Kerala.
He addressed the last rally in Kolkata on April 18. He was supposed to catch a flight for Kolkata on early Thursday morning, but cancelled the plan due to body ache. He got tested and the report was positive, said Neelkanth Bakshi, the MP s advisor.

LUCKNOW: A youth threw ink at Aam Aadmi Party MLA Somnath Bharti in Jais area of Rae Bareli on Monday morning. The incident took place when Bharti, MLA Malviya Nagar in Delhi, was on the way to visit a government school and was stopped by the police. The youth was nabbed by the police.
Meanwhile, shortly after the incident, Bharti was arrested in connection with an FIR lodged against him in Jagdishpur in Amethi on Sunday for alleged derogatory comments against chief minister Yogi Adityanath. Another FIR was lodged against him at Jais for obstructing public servants from discharging their duty.
