Karnataka Cong MLA escapes unhurt in road accident

Davangere, April 14 : Former Karnataka Minister and Congress leader, U. T. Khader s car met with an accident while he was travelling on Wednesday morning. However, the Mangaluru MLA escaped unhurt, the police said.
According to the police, the accident took place near Anagodu in Davangere district when the Congress leader s car hit the container truck that was ahead of his vehicle.
Davangere district is 265 kms from the state capital, Bengaluru. In this section there are humps, the accident took place when both drivers (container as well as car driver) were negotiating on this stretch, the police explained.

Belagavi : , April 7 (IANS) Former Karnataka Minister and Sleaze CD case accused Ramesh Jarkiholi was on Wednesday discharged from the Gokak taluk government hospital, where he had been admitted for treatment of Covid-19.
Jarkiholi declined to speak to reporters waiting outside the hospital as he was suffering from Covid. The doctors said that he was advised to self-quarantine at home for two weeks.
He was admitted to the hospital on Sunday night after he complained about breathing problems, and treated in the ICU.
