LOCK HAVEN First Quality Enterprises, Inc. has announced that First Quality Hygienic Inc., will discontinue manufacturing and selling tampons in summer 2021.
“First Quality remains committed to the feminine care category. The company will continue to provide innovative sanitary pads and liners alongside its adult incontinence products, baby diapers, training and youth pants and wipes,” the company said in a press release emailed to The Express Wednesday afternoon.
First Quality Hygienic employees will be offered alternative employment opportunities to continue their careers at other First Quality Group companies, the release stated.
Further details, including the reason for the shut-down were not reported in the release, and attempts to speak with local officials at First Quality were not successful.
Little League International recently hired Rachel Duda as its financial systems analyst.
“Rachel is an exciting addition to the Little League team as we continue to develop the support for our local leagues and evolve our business operations,” said Andy Frederick, Little League senior director of information services. “Her experience as an auditor will be indispensable in our future finance projects. We are very glad to have Rachel onboard.”
Under the direction of the senior director of information services, Duda will serve as the technical liaison to Little League International’s finance department and treasurer, supporting the company’s current finance systems, implementing new solutions, and ensuring that financial best practices are being followed.

® International recently added a new member to its Headquarters staff in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania, with the hiring of Rachel Duda as its Financial Systems Analyst.
