Okoboji Foundation Allocates More than $350,000 to Area Non-Profits

Okoboji, IA (KICD)– Eight area non-profits will be getting some assistance from the Okoboji Foundation as part of the 2021 grants process after more 350-thousand dollars was allocated.
The foundation received 767-thousand dollars in grant requests for the new cycle with 150-thousand will be going to Ducks Unlimited, 80-thousand to Dickinson County Trails, 30-thousand dollars to the Maser Monarch Lodge and 25-thousand each to Pearson Lakes Art Center and the Francis Sites Wetland project.
The organization’s Youth in Philanthropy student group also awarded $24,500 to Camp Foster, over 15-thousand dollars to the Okoboji School District and nearly 65-hundred to the Friends of the Milford Library.
