Minot’s annual State of the City event will have a different look this year, with a virtual format and a new Citizen of the Year award. Mayor Shaun Sipma will deliver the State of the City address Tuesday, starting immediately after the planning commission meeting on the Minot’s YouTube and Facebook platforms. A link also will be available on the city’s website at minotnd.org. Efforts are being made to possibly broadcast the event on public access Channel 19. The event is expected to run less than an hour and will be recorded for future viewing on the social platforms.
