Islamabad: Coronavirus illness, COVID-19 claimed another life from Islamabad Capital Territory in the last 24 hours taking death toll from ICT to 784 though no death due to the illness was reported from Rawalpindi district from where a total of 1,000 patients had already died of COVID-19.
It is important that the total number of patients so far reported from the twin cities crossed the figure of 109000 on Monday. Confirmation of another 141 patients positive for COVID-19 from ICT and Rawalpindi district in the last 24 hours took tally to 109,023 of which 105185 patients have so far recovered from the illness while 1784 have lost their lives. On Monday, the number of active cases belonging to the region was 2054.

Rawalpindi : Another death due to coronavirus illness, COVID-19 in the last 24 hours from Rawalpindi district took death toll from the district to 1,000 on Saturday though no death was reported due to COVID-19 from Islamabad Capital Territory where a total of 782 patients had already lost their lives due to the illness.
In the last 24 hours, as many as 174 new patients have been reported positive from the twin cities taking the tally to 108696. The positivity rate of COVID-19 from the twin cities has been recording a continuous upward trend for the last one-and-a-half weeks while in the last 24 hours, the positivity ratio from Rawalpindi district has turned out to be 4.46 per cent.

Rawalpindi : A sharp increase has been recorded in the number of coronavirus illness, COVID-19 cases reported from Islamabad Capital Territory and Rawalpindi district as another 104 patients have been tested positive for the infection in the last 24 hours that is the highest number of cases reported in a day from the twin cities in the last four weeks.
The virus claimed another life from Rawalpindi district in the last 24 hours taking the death toll from the district to 994 on Friday while 779 patients from ICT had already died of COVID-19. Confirmation of 104 new cases took tally from the region to 107,636.
