मारुती सुझुकी कंपनीने आपल्या स्वीफ्टसह सीएनजीवर आधारित मोटारींच्या किमती 15 हजार रुपयांनी वाढवल्या आहेत. अंतर्गत खर्चात झालेल्या वाढीमुळे कंपनीला सदरची दरवाढ करावी लागते आहे. सदरची वाढ ही सोमवार दि. 12 जुलैपासून अंमलात येत असून ही वाढ तिसऱयांदा करण्यात आली आहे. इतर कार मॉडेल्सच्या किमती वाढवण्याचा विचार केला जात असल्याचे कंपनीने सांगितले आहे. स्वीफ्टची दिल्लीतील

Maruti Suzuki on Friday announced an increase in prices of its select models to offset the impact of high input costs.
The new rates are effective from April 16, 2021. However, the carmaker is yet to announce as to which particular models prices have been increased.
NEW DELHI: NEW DELHI: The country s largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki on Friday informed that it will increase the price of its select models by up to Rs 22,500.
In a regulatory filing, Maruti said: The company is increasing the price for select models owing to increase in various input costs.
Consequently, the weighted average price increase in ex-showroom prices (Delhi) across models is 1.6 per cent, it added.
The price hike will be applicable to all car models of the company, except Celerio and Swift.
The new prices will be applicable with immediate effect, the company said.
Last month, the company had informed that it will substantially hike the priice of its entire product portfolio from April in order to offset the impact of higher input costs.

NEW DELHI: Car sales witnessed a strong month in February, with companies such as Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Toyota and Tata Motors recording healthy growth in volumes, while others such as Nissan riding historic highs on demand for its new model Magnite.
The growth for the industry came amid supply chain challenges as shortages on the semiconductor front hit production at many companies.
