For the past week there have been demonstrations in the city of Jerusalem, and there has been little media coverage of the events. Everything from arrests, beatings, and prevention of religious services have been perpetrated by the Israel Defense Force (IDF). What is happening in the lands of Palestine is modern-day, violent colonialism, and there needs to be more attention paid.
On April 22, police in Jerusalem blocked access to the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and set up barricades throughout the city of Jerusalem. These blockades were met with resistance by Palestinian youth. In response to this resistance, right-wing Israelis marched through the streets of Jerusalem chanting “death to Arabs.”

New Delhi [India], May 14 (ANI): The Delhi High Court on Thursday directed Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) administration to provide for immediate isolation to residents who have been tested Covid positive and a Covid Care Centre to be set up inside the JNU. The premises for the same be identified by the COVID Task Force, in consultation with the concerned Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM). NSUI files missing person report against Home Minister Amit Shah

Amit Shah with the
Home Minister at the time of the pandemic.
NSUI general secretary Nagesh Kariyappa filed the complaint against Shah with the Parliament Street police station.
Kariyappa said that politicians are supposed to serve the nation, and not run away from a crisis situation.
He said that when the country is suffering from a deadly pandemic and the citizens are facing a crisis, it is the duty of the politicians to be accountable, not only towards the government of India or the BJP, but also towards the people of the country.
