NSUI files complaint against Ramdev for alleged allopathy remarks

New Delhi, June 1 : At a time when several doctors are protesting against yoga guru Ramdev for his alleged remarks on allopathy practice, the National Students Union of India (NSUI) has filed a police complaint against him with the Delhi Police.
The complaint has been filed by NSUI general secretary Nagesh Kariyappa.
In his complaint, Kariyappa said that a video of Ramdev terming allopathy and modern medicine as stupid is doing the rounds on social media, which is demoralising lakhs of medical professionals, who are working tirelessly since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic across the country.

The National Student’s Union of India (NSUI) took to Twitter stating that Union Home Minister Amit Shah was missing during COVID times. As the hashtag ‘Amit Shah Missing’ trended on Twitter with over 5,000 tweets, many users said that Amit Shah has been missing in action while the whole country is fighting over the Covid-19 pandemic.
On Wednesday, NSUI national general secretary Nagesh Kariyappa filed a complaint with the Parliament Street police station, Delhi in which he alleged that Home Minister has disappeared amid the pandemic and the people are in crisis.
