Sabre WA State Championship 2021 © John Chapman The State Championship was held at Maylands Yacht Club for two Heats and PDSC held four Heats. A good sized fleet of 25 lined up for the final two Heats Saturday 6th March 2021 at PDSC sailing in Matilda Bay. The overall result came down to the final race, as the first three positions were on the line. Over the line in the final and last race was Tony Carr first Andrew Rose second with Scott Olsen third. Andrew Rose a relative newcomer to the class has improved immensely. Another newcomer Jonas Nilsson from Sweden sailed consistently in the top ten. Old hand grand veteran sailor Bill Gillham finished 4th overall.
