Australia watched in shock as Attorney-General
Christian Porter reveled himself to be the person accused of raping a 16-year-old girl in 1988, allegations which he wholly denies.
The alleged rape was first reported to police in February, 2020, before the woman took her own life in June of that year. The government was formally made aware of the allegations last week, but it wasn’t until Wednesday that Porter publicly admitted that he was the alleged perpetrator.

Scott Morrison after he made a horrendous apology over the Parliament House rape scandal, in which he said he understands why rape is bad because, as his wife
Jenny had to remind him, he has two daughters.
In case you missed it, Morrison literally said that “Jenny and I spoke last night, and she said to me, ‘You have to think about this as a father first. What would you want to happen if it were our girls?’ – Jenny has a way of clarifying things, always has.”

Community radio station, FBi, has received funding from the Judith Neilson Institute, allowing it to hire a paid executive producer for its flagship news and current affairs show, Backchat.

FBi Radio is excited to announce a new partnership with the Judith Nielson Institute.
The Institute, founded in 2018 to support quality journalism and storytelling, has provided funding to allow FBi Radio to appoint a paid Executive Producer position for its flagship news and current affairs program, Backchat.
Broadcasting live each Saturday morning, Backchat aims to tap into stories untold by the mainstream media, breaks down complex topics for youth audiences, and gives a platform to members of the community to be heard on the issues that matter to them.
