It may be early in the growing season, but Rock Whissell assures there won’t be any shortage of locally produced food to select from when the Mountjoy Farmers’ Market kicks off this Saturday.
“Rhubarb is out, radishes are out; there are other fresh products already in place,” said Whissell, president of the Porcupine District Agricultural Society which has been managing the market the last four years.
