Alberto Del Rio Talks Felony Charges Against Him Former WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio (aka Alberto El Patron) recently appeared on The Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling Podcast with host JP John Poz. You can listen to the show at their official website or below. We noted at this link how Alberto recently expressed interest in a WWE return, and apologized for his past mistakes. Alberto discussed how he’s gotten back into shape after a “horrible year” and how he gained a lot of weight, and dealt with depression. Alberto was arrested in May 2020 in Texas for allegedly battering and sexually assaulting his then-girlfriend. He was indicted by a grand jury and charged with one count of felony aggravated kidnapping and four counts of felony sexual assault. He has a trial scheduled for August 2 and is facing up to life in prison.
