Mad Maxine makes strong accusations regarding Fabulous Moolah, recalls training at her facility, and whether she confronted her May 7, 2021 The Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling Podcast with Mad Maxine Host: JP John Poz Interview available at Tmptow.podomatic.com On the Fabulous Moolah: She was considered the best person to train women wrestlers when I was coming up in the business. When I first got in, I was told that if I was really serious about this, I would need to go down to Columbia, South Carolina and get trained with the Fabulous Moolah. It’s not like Moolah did the training for the most part, it was Donna Christanello who did a lot of it, then Moolah came in and trained as I got ready for my first match. We all lived on this compound in South Carolina with a lake in the middle. It was kind of like Army barracks. Well we all had roommates and everyone stayed on the compound for the most part. Allan Kwee Wee Funk on his character, his friendship with Randy Savage, training at the WCW Power Plant

Interview available at Tmptow.podomatic.com On the WCW Power Plant: “I contacted the WCW Power Plant down in Atlanta to get a tryout. I did my three day camp there and it was the most difficult thing ever, it’s the most brutal thing in the history of man. It was every bit of what people say it is and more. I’m sure you’ve heard some of the horror stories on how tough it was. I made it through there somehow and out of 15 to 20 guys, I was the only one who made it in that class. So eventually I moved down to Atlanta and trained under Jody Hamilton, ‘The Sarge’ Dewayne Bruce, and ‘Pistol’ Pez Whatley. I was only in the Power Plant for a few months before they called me up with Kid Romeo, Elix Skipper, Mike Sanders, and a bunch of others.”

Bryan Clark says he was pitched The Ringmaster gimmick that later went to Steve Austin, looks back on the Adam Bomb gimmick in the WWF, recalls his quick loss to Earthquake at WrestleMania 10 April 7, 2021 The Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling Podcast with Bryan Clark Host: JP John Poz Interview available at Tmptow.podomatic.com Entering the WWF: I remember coming in, getting a tryout, getting signed and then going home. They pitched a couple of things to me. Adam Bomb was the one that I chose, but they also pitched me The Ringmaster gimmick too. People may think I’m making that up, but I’m not, they actually pitched me being the Ringmaster. I obviously picked Adam Bomb instead. Those were the two gimmicks that were offered and I knew I could do a lot more with the Adam Bomb gimmick. They have Steve Austin the Ringmaster gimmick later on, but they had it trademarked since 1993.
