Beaufort County School District appoints 9 new principals Bluffton Today The Beaufort County School District said new principals have been selected to lead nine schools during the 2021-22 academic year.  District officials made internal hires for seven of the positions, a news release said, and two hires from outside the district.  The district said the principals approved last week by the school board “were the top choices of committees that interviewed finalists for each position.”  “Those committees included teachers, principals, School Improvement Council members, and representatives of the district’s Instructional Services Division,” the release said. “The high school interview committee also included a student.”

(WTOC) - South Carolinians over the age of 16 are now able to make an appointment to get the COVID-19 vaccine. And for many people, they will take whatever appointment they can get. Now that COVID-19 vaccination eligibility has expanded to anyone over the age of 16, schools are making accommodations so that any student who wants the vaccine can get it. “I am glad that we can get a vaccine so we can finally start to get things back to normal,” said 10th grader David Topin.
