ZAMBOANGA CITY – Police authorities seized about a kilo of suspected shabu estimated to be worth P6.8 million from three reported drug dealers in Imelda, in a buy-bust operation conducted in Zamboanga Sibugay province on Sunday.
Zamboanga Peninsula Police (PRO-9) Director Brig. Gen. Ronaldo Genaro E. Ylagan said the anti-illegal drugs operation was conducted in Barangay Lumbog, Imelda, Zamboanga Sibugay, at 2:15 p.m. Sunday.
Ylagan identified the arrested suspects as Crimalde I Tarawi, 53, married of Simunul, Tawi-Tawi; Albasir N Masihul, 26, of Barangay Sawa, Mabuhay, Zamboanga Sibugay and Basir B Alano, 48, of Tulay, Jolo, Sulu.

Patricia J. Beyer, 47, of Little Chute, was charged Nov. 20 with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence-7th offense, over an incident Nov. 19 in the town of Townsend, following a traffic stop. Bond on Nov. 23: $3,500 cash.
FOUR drug suspects were killed and a huge cache of crystal meth or âshabuâworth P272 million was recovered in a drug operation in Taguig City on Monday.
Christopher Ocarol, Allan Catalan, and two others died in the anti-drug operation conducted by members of the Drug Enforcement Group and Taguig City Police in Barangay Napindan around 5:35 a.m.
Police said a clash armed ensued after the suspects sensed that they were transacting with policemen.
