OCONTO – A Green Bay man will serve 26 years in prison for sexually assaulting a 12-year-old boy at a gathering in northern Oconto County in 2013.
Nicholas J. Meyer, 27, will then serve an additional 20 years of extended supervision, Judge Jay N. Conley decided April 22.
The sentence is one of the longest handed down in Oconto County Circuit Court in nearly four years.
“I want you to sit your time (in prison) for your actions and have the time to think about your choices and what you did to me … the pain I endured and the way my life changed,” said the victim, now a 20-year-old man.
