One of two grand prize show homes in the 2021 Cash and Cars Lottery is a stunning three-storey West Coast-inspired home by Truman in Timberline Estates.
It’s the 11th consecutive year that Truman has participated in the lottery, which benefits the Alberta Cancer Centre.

The 3,040-square-foot home is valued at $1.3 million, including furniture and accessories. It’s located at 40 Timberline Way S.W. and is not open for public tours. However, it’s next door to a Truman show home which is open every day but Friday.

Leisk hid in the stream by Woodburn Gardens.
A lout who tried to hide from police in a stream, and then gave them two fake names, exclaimed “yaaas!” in court after learning he would not be fined.
Ellis Leisk appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court via a video link to be sentenced over the matter having previously pled guilty.
He admitted breaching a bail order curfew and attempting to pervert the course of justice.

A man has been handed a curfew and supervision after giving police a false name – which he had “difficulty even pronouncing”.
Scott Ewen was found by police near Woodburn Gardens in Aberdeen after officers had been tasked with attending the area.
But when they asked him who he was Ewen gave them a false name which he struggled to pronounce due to his level of drunkenness.
The 26-year-old pled guilty to charges of attempting to pervert the course of justice and of being in breach of a bail order curfew.
Fiscal depute Janet MacDonald told Aberdeen Sheriff Court: “Police officers were tasked with attending the locus around 4.45am on December 27.
