Proms and graduations are something to look forward to in high school, but for the class of 2021, it has been up in the air whether or not, or how they can happen due to COVID-19.
High school proms across the nation were canceled last year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Students say attending prom is one of the most exciting parts of graduation. Teens spend much time preparing for the occasion.
Hillsdale High School senior Madison Semmler said last year (pre-covid), she bought a $300 dress, shoes, and made appointments only for her junior prom to be cancelled.
