NIA files chargesheet in Patna court in AK-47 weapons recovery case ANI | Updated: Jun 02, 2021 22:03 IST
Patna (Bihar) [India], June 2 (ANI): The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday filed a supplementary charge-sheet before its special court in Patna in an AK-47 weapons recovery case.
The accused has been identified as Rajiv Kumar Singh alias Chunnu Singh, a resident of Bihar s Gaya.
The case relates to the recovery of three AK-47 weapons on the disclosure of charge-sheeted accused Shamsher Alam from the premises of Rizwana Begum.
In this regard, an FIR was registered at Munger s Muffasil police station against 26 persons and unknown others on September 7, 2018.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday filed a supplementary charge sheet against arms trafficker Rajiv Kumar in the Bihar arms recovery case.An NIA spokesperson said that the agency has named Kumar, a resident of Bihar s Gaya .
A Saudi expatriate, brutally tortured allegedly by his wife and in-laws in Sadar upazila of Cox's Bazar yesterday, died at Chattogram Medical College Hospital this noon. Manjur Alam (45), son of late Abdul Goni of Cox's Bazar Chowfaldandi area, succumbed to his injures at CMCH around 12:30pm, said Abdul Halim, officer-in-charge of Eidgaon Police Station under the upazila.

New Delhi, Feb 16 : After the months-long lockdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic, 35-year-old Manjur Alam was expecting customers at his plant nursery, however, the farmers protest at Singhu border has prolonged his agony.
Alam, a resident of South 24 Parganas in West Bengal, told IANS he was expecting his business to pick up from November but the farmers protest has led to the Delhi-Chandigarh national highway being blocked.
