Two roadwork projects are scheduled to take place this week in Chariton County.
The Missouri Department of Transportation says Route DD from Routes D to O is scheduled to be closed from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily from Monday, May 3, through Thursday, May 6, for culvert replacement.
Also, bridge maintenance is scheduled on the Yellow Creek bridge on Route CC north of Mendon. This will be an around-the-clock lane closure on Wednesday, May 5, and Thursday May 6.
In addition, Highway 139 is closed for a bridge replacement project at the Grand River Overflow Bridge through July. This bridge is included in Governor. Mike Parson’s $351 million Focus on Bridges program, which will repair or replace 250 bridges across the state.
