MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) The COVID-19 pandemic has challenged everyone, whether it be working from home, distance learning, or whatever else, it has changed nearly everything we do.
For some, it has served as an opportunity.
Bridget Norland, a Mankato resident, has taken the extra time to pursue painting.

MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) â The competition is steep if youâre looking to buy a home in greater Minnesota, as low inventory and historically low interest rates are leading to multiple bids on properties.
Locally in Mankato, itâs a low supply and high demand.
âRight now, Iâm seeing that the market is just bananas. It is definitely a sellerâs market. There is not a lot of homes on the market. And I think thereâs not a lot of homes on the market because sellers are worried about âwhere am I going to go? Am I going to be able to find a home to go into?â,â said Candee Deichman, real estate agent at Century 21 Atwood.
