Food donations sought by local Boy Scouts Boy Scout Troop 186, Harrison, will leave hang tags on doorknobs in the Natrona Heights and Brackenridge this week and next as part of the annual Scouting for Food campaign of the Laurel Highlands Council of the Boy Scouts of America. All food collected by the troop will be delivered to the Food Bank of Allegheny Valley Association of Churches in Natrona Heights for distribution to local needy families. To participate if you received a hang tag, please place non-perishable food items in bags and leave them outside your front door on April 26. Scouts will return between 7 and 8:30 p.m. April 26 to pick up donations.

Cheswick Wednesday: Cheswick Council will hold the caucus meeting at 7 p.m. at the borough firehall, 1411 Spruce St. Etna Friday: The Pittsburgh North chapter of the Women’s Business Network will meet at 9 a.m. online. Those attending can learn how the group supports the success and growth of women in business. Meetings are the first and third Tuesdays of the month. Reservations required. Hours: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, noon to 5 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays.
