Plum volunteers to bring back drive-thru Easter celebration in early April

Plum families will have a chance to socially distance with the Easter Bunny in a few weeks. A Drive-Thru Eggstravaganza is set for April 3 at the public works facility along Old Mine Road. It is organized by Plum Rotary president Mona Costanza and her volunteers. The idea for the event came about last year as officials scrambled to find a way to keep a holiday tradition rolling during the early months of the pandemic. “People are looking for something to do,” Costanza said. “It’s not a traditional egg hunt.” The public works garage was transformed into a covid-free Easter home complete with bunny volunteers wearing masks and gloves.
