A 53-year-old man from Cornwall is facing eight charges after a police investigation into several incidents over the past few months.
Police alleged the man removed merchandise from three local businesses during April and May, without paying for them on any occasion. Police alleged the man removed an employee’s bicycle from a Second Street store without that person’s permission. Police also alleged that on May 11, the man removed merchandise from a Second Street business, threatened the employees with violence, and struck two employees with a bottle, damaging one person’s glasses. He was arrested on Sunday.
