There was no shortage of COVID-19-related news on the weekend, and Eastern Ontario Health Unit medical officer of health Dr. Paul Roumeliotis discussed quite a lot of it during his Monday afternoon media briefing.
He spoke about some of the measures added by the province on Friday, and tweaked on the weekend, the doctor noting playgrounds were off-limits, but only briefly.

What about private driveways?
A media member from the Ottawa area asked about a report that a couple, in their own driveway in Rockland, were fined on the weekend by police as they communicated with another couple in a close-by driveway. Roumeliotis was asked if he believes that’s a type of situation which should warrant fines, but the doctor said he was unaware of the incident, and that he would look into it before commenting.
