State Police in Punxsutawney say that after further investigation and interviews it was determined that the one-year-old girl who went missing from her North Mahoning Township home along Coolspring Road may have wandered away until police found her safe.
In the original report – the child went missing Thursday around 1:25 pm but was found safe about 1.5 miles east of her address.
Authorities say the father of the child had noticed a vehicle drive past his home several times before his daughter went missing but police determined after further investigation that there was no vehicle involved in the incident.

State Police in DuBois have filed criminal charges against a Reynoldsville man who allegedly threatened a woman with a gun during an incident in Washington Township of Jefferson County on Tuesday.
According to ExploreJeffersonPA.com, police were dispatched to the scene around 6:40 pm and spoke with the victim who reported a vehicle pulled in behind her at her relative’s residence and 31-year-old David Michael Chapdelaine got out, with a pistol in hand, and threatened her.
Police then interviewed Chapdelaine and a passenger is his vehicle. The passenger reported that Chapdelaine did have a gun during the argument but did not disclose any other details. Chapdelaine reportedly admitted that he did argue with the victim, had a gun in hand, and threatened her but he said he did not point the gun at her.

A Brookville man who was caught with a stolen bicycle valued at $1,500 is facing criminal charges.
According to ExploreJeffersonPA.com, Punxsutawney Borough Police filed criminal charges against 42-year-old Casey Spade. The charges stem from an incident on April 15 when police were contacted by Jefferson County Adult Probation to respond to Oakland Avenue to assist with recovered stolen property.
At the scene, police were told Spade had a bike hidden under a tarp that a woman had reported stolen on April 14. The woman reportedly provided video surveillance of the theft to police.
