Two women have been reported missing in Vatuwaqa. National Disaster Management Office director Vasiti Soko said details of how the two women went missing are unknown at this stage as an investigation is still being carried out. Police is yet to confirm this case. Meanwhile the search for two fishermen who went missing in Cikobia on Wednesday is still on. Chief Operations Officer of Police Abdul Khan said they are currently searching for the fishermen with the assistance of the Fiji Navy Search and Rescue Centre. Khan said a report was lodged by the Mata ni Tikina Udu at the Labasa Police Station on Wednesday after the fishing boat failed to reach Vunikodi village.
