Montco SAAC s Corks & Forks going virtual

NORRISTOWN — A virtual version of Corks & Forks on May 13 at 6 p.m. will tempt taste buds and hopefully raise funds to benefit The Senior Adult Activities Center of Montgomery County’s  two senior centers, inter-generational Art Center at Ambler and the all-important Meals on Wheels program. “We’re partnering with local restaurants and beverage vendors to provide chef and bartender demonstrations virtually for that evening,” noted Melissa Buckminster, director of marketing for Montco SAAC. “Normally, this is something where we provide tastings for everybody that attends the event, but with COVID rates being what they are in Montgomery County, that is not happening right now. But we are providing the virtual demonstrations and performances form musical guests and a silent auction that will be held virtually as well.”
