Montgomery County OKs $2 3M contract for meal deliveries

NORRISTOWN — A $2.3 million contract authorized Thursday will cover meal deliveries for those in need. An agreement, not exceeding $2,313,600, between the Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services and a number of providers was approved by the Montgomery County Board of Commissioners during a meeting last week. A request for proposals was initially issued on half of the department’s Office of Senior Services for home delivered meals.
